Levinsky is not your usual food market – its actually a market for spices and nuts, but with years more and more places have opened up, and nowadays it is offering some of the best food tastings in the country. The story started 100 years ago, as Jews from Saloniki of Greece opened what would become one of the city's most important markets. More specialty delis have opened up with the years, many of them still open and offer and unusual opportunity to taste what cannot be tasted anywhere else in Israel.
